| Ladane is a trilingual (English, French, Farsi) freelance journalist. She is presently based in Tehran as a reporter for Bloomberg News. She has contributed to Newsweek, the International Herald Tribune, Liberation, the Telegraph and has written for political, cultural and literary publications such as The Nation, La Presse, Voir and La Règle du Jeu. Ladane has also worked with broadcasting institutions such as New York Public Radio (WNYC), the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and Radio Canada covering topics ranging from United Nations' Security Council meetings to New York City arts and cultural events. |

| She has been an active researcher for various media related projects and has analyzed the advertising, public relations and public diplomacy industries for a PBS Frontline documentary, "The Persuaders" . Ladane holds a Master of International Relations with a specialization in Journalism from Columbia University in the city of New York and a Master of International Management from Middlesex University and the Centre d'Etudes Superieures Europeenes de Management (CESEM). |
